<p>Anti-terror&nbsp;police in Germany closed down an entire terminal at Hamburg airport after mistaking a wrapped package of frozen fish for a bomb.</p><p>SWAT teams evacuated the terminal after police spotted two plastic wrapped packages that were apparently abandoned.</p><p>But as the packages began to melt, police say the terminal filled with the unmistakable aroma of rotting seafood.</p><p>&quot;Luckily just the fish went off, not a bomb,&quot; says one officer.</p>&nbsp;<font size="1" face="Arial, sans-serif"> <i>Copyright WENN.com. <p>A team is set to drill through Antarctic's ice sheets in search of a lost cache of vintage Scottish whiskey.</p><p>The whiskey became marooned when explorer Sir Ernest Shackleton and his team made a journey to the South Pole more than 100 years ago.</p><p>The weather conditions forced the crew to be rescued and they left the Scotch behind.</p><p>It was discovered in 2006, but the ice pack was too dense for a retrieval.</p><p>Now, beverage company Whyte &amp; Mackay has requested a team fetch the two crates of Rare Old brand of McKinlay and Co. whiskey.</p><p>They'll only be able to retrieve a couple of bottles due to a conservation&nbsp;agreement made by Antarctic Treaty nations.</p><p>Whyte &amp; Mackay hope to replicate the taste and release it anew.</p><p></p><p><br/></p>&nbsp;<font size="1" face="Arial, sans-serif"> <i>Copyright WENN.com</i></font></div>

<p>A Ugandan official has called for the bodies of dead people who died as a result of drinking an illicit local gin to be caned six times before burial as an example to living people.</p><p>The gin, called waragi, is distilled with a poisonous methanol.</p><p>Police say they are launching an investigation into the making of the alcohol that has reportedly&nbsp;caused more than 50 people to die in the last two months.</p><p>Caning a dead body is not out of the ordinary in Uganda. <p>An Arizona library finally received two of its books back from a former student, 51 years after they were due.</p><p>The books were returned to the library at Camelback High School in Phoenix along with a note and a $1,000 money order.</p><p>The note wasn't signed but&nbsp;the anonymous sender apologized for the books being returned so late and that the $1,000 should be enough to cover&nbsp;the late fees.</p><p>The long-overdue books were&nbsp;<span style="font-style: italic">Community of Living Things: Forests and Woodlands</span> and&nbsp;<span style="font-style: italic">Field and Meadows</span>.&nbsp;</p>&nbsp;<font size="1" face="Arial, sans-serif"> <i>Copyright WENN.com</i></font></div>
