<p>The University of Alberta has set the new world record for the largest dodgeball game.</p><p>A total of 4,979 students, faculty and alumni donned green and gold t-shirts in order&nbsp;to take back the record from their United States dodgeball rival, the University of California, Irvine.</p><p>The University of Alberta invited Philip Robertson from the&nbsp;Guinness World Records to the school to adjudicate the event.</p><p>After the record was broken,&nbsp;Robertson presented the record to Colten Yamagishi, Students&#8217; Union Vice-President and Frank Robinson, Vice-Provost/Dean of Students.<br /></p><p>&nbsp;<font size="1" face="Arial, sans-serif"> <i>Copyright WENN.com.&nbsp; Examiner.com contributed to this report.</i></font></p></div>

<p>A man who has won a George Clooney look-a-like competition in Ireland has left many confused because he doesn't look anything like the Oscar-winning actor.</p><p>27-year-old David Glendon beat 782 others for the title and some have wondered if the location of the contest, a whiskey bar, may have had a factor in the outcome.</p><p>Glendon has a certificate to prove he won and will also get to go to the Academy Awards. He says, &quot;I decided to do it...for the fun of it. I'm delighted to have won. <p>Champion skydiver Felix Baumgartner is preparing to smash several records as he attempts a death-defying leap from the edge of space.&nbsp;</p><p>The 41-year-old from Austria plans to complete the highest-ever freefall jump made by a human by plunging out of a specially designed balloon about 22 miles above the earth.</p><p>The man who set the previous record in 1960, Colonel Joe Kittinger, is now working with Baumgartner's sponsor Red Bull on the project.</p><p>Baumgartner will be going for four firsts: the altitude record for highest manned balloon flight, the altitude record for a freefall, the distance record for longest freefall, and the speed record for fastest freefall (possibly breaking the sound barrier with his body in the process).</p><p>Baumgartner has been preparing for the jump since 2005. </p><p>Baumgartner's sponsor and backers say it's not all about records. <p>Call center workers in Norway are protesting against a system that triggers an alarm if they spend too much time away from their desk.</p><p>Mangers are alerted by flashing lights if an employee is away for a bathroom break or other &quot;personal activities&quot;, like cigarette breaks or personal phone calls, for more than eight minutes.</p><p>An employees union says the rules are &quot;highly restrictive&quot; and &quot;intrusive&quot; and a regulatory official says &quot;each individual worker has different needs and these kinds of strict controls deprive the employees of all freedoms over the course of their working day.&quot;</p><p>The call center says the rule isn't to measure the amount of time workers are taking but making sure enough staff is available to ensure that all calls from customers were being answered. The call center says it is reviewing the policy.</p><p>It isn't the first company in Norway to implement unusual rules to monitor employee break times.
