Recap: Tulane vs. Tulsa

New Orleans, LA (Sports Network) - Eric McClellan and Jordan Clarkson scored 15 points each as the Tulsa Golden Hurricane bested the Tulane Green Wave, 73-69, in Conference USA action at Fogelman Arena.

Kodi Maduka scored 12 points and grabbed 12 rebounds for Tulsa (17-11, 10-4 C- USA) which has won its last two. Scottie Haralson finished with 11 points while Clarkson added five assists.

Ricky Tarrant topped all scorers with 21 points for the Green Wave (15-13, 3-11) as they lost for the seventh time in their last eight games. Jordan Callahan added 16 points, while Josh Davis collected seven rebounds.

Tulsa led 37-30 at the break after shooting 13-of-24 from the field in the first half, including 5-of-10 from long range. Tulane shot an even 50 percent from the floor in the opening period.

Tulsa stayed hot after halftime, shooting 53.8 percent from the floor over the final 20 minutes.

The Golden Hurricane shot 54 percent from the field for the game and had a 37-25 edge on the glass.
