Recap: Youngstown St vs. Wright State
Youngstown, OH (Sports Network) - Kendrick Perry posted a game-high 23 points to lead the Youngstown State Penguins to a 61-54 win over the Wright State Raiders in a Horizon League tussle at the Beeghly Center.
Blake Allen added 17 points in the win for Youngstown State (14-13, 9-7 Horizon).
Vance Hall scored 13 points to lead the way for Wright State (13-16, 7-9).
The Raiders held the Penguins to just 35.7 percent from the field during the opening stanza to take a slight 29-27 lead into the break.
The second half told a different story, however, as the Penguins made good on a blistering 57.1 percent of their attempts from the floor while stifling Wright State to a 25.0 percent pace.
The Raiders converted just 32.1 percent from the floor during the meeting, in addition to a lackluster 10-of-19 effort at the foul line.
