Carmelo Anthony to return to the Dome for Knicks exhibition game

Syracuse (WSYR-TV) – Former Syracuse University star Carmelo Anthony will return to the Carrier Dome as a New York Knick on Monday, Oct. 22.

The storied New York franchise is traveling to Syracuse for an exhibition game against the Philadelphia 76ers. Former SU player Darryl Watkins is currently listed on the 76ers’ roster.

The exhibition is set for 7 p.m. Ticket information has not been publicized at this point.

Anthony helped the Orange win the 2003 National Championship.

Last year, Anthony returned to the Dome to appear at SU’s March Madness.

Anthony and SU’s Hall of Fame coach Jim Boeheim won the gold medal together in the London Olympics over the summer.
