Syracuse (WSYR-TV/CNN) – Former Syracuse football player Shamarko Thomas’ effort at the NFL Combine in Indianapolis could have ended in disaster.

During his impressive run in the 40-yard dash, Thomas tumbled in spectacular fashion after recording a 4.39.

But the former Orange defensive back jumped back up and completed the rest of the combine drills with no ill effects.
