NEW YORK (WSYR-TV) - SU's all-time passing leader Ryan Nassib will have to wait at least another day to find out his NFL future. The SU alum was not selected to a team during the first round of the NFL draft Thursday night.
Some insiders thought he might have been picked up by the Bills, but they chose EJ Manuel instead.
Rounds two and three are set up for tomorrow night, with the rest of the draft finishing up on Saturday.
Nassib played four seasons for Syracuse University. He finished his collegiate career with 9,190 yards passing on 791 completed passes. Both of those stats are school records
In his senior season, Nassib led the Big East Conference with 312.3 yards per game and 301.6 yards passing per game.
He also set the Orange’s single-season records for completions (283), yards (3,619), and touchdowns (24).
