Syracuse (WSYR-TV) – A former Syracuse University men’s basketball assistant coach will return to the Carrier Dome less than one year after leaving for a job as head coach at Eastern Michigan.
Rob Murphy
was named head coach at Eastern Michigan, which is located near his hometown of Detroit, in April. When he brings the Eagles to the Dome, it will be the first time they have played the Orange in the two programs’ histories.
The Eagles were 9-22 overall and 5-11 in MAC play last year.
