Syracuse (WSYR-TV) -- While the Orange are focused on their game tonight against Providence, a lot of fans are already looking ahead to Saturday when SU takes on longtime rival Georgetown.
Tickets to watch the match-up at the Carrier Dome are sold out.
And, there’s a new T-shirt for Orange fans. Holy Shirt’s newest release says “Beat Goergetown” on the front and on the back it says “For Old Time’s Sake.”
We spoke with the store’s owner about what drives them to create the trendy T-shirts.
“It’s the end of a 30 year rivalry that we’ve had with Georgetown…it’s an historic moment for Syracuse sports and we always find a way to incorporate a little fun with those historic moments and come up with T-shirts,” said Holy Shirt owner Chris Groat.
