SU back-up quarterback charged with stealing suspended from team
Syracuse (WSYR-TV) – Syracuse University back-up quarterback Terrel Hunt was suspended from the football team the day after he was accused of stealing a bottle of fragrance.
Hunt was charged with petit larceny after he was caught by a loss prevention officer and taken to a security office at Carousel Center.
Syracuse University football coach Doug Marrone issued a statement on Wednesday saying that he is aware of the charges against Hunt and that the quarterback has been suspended.

Syracuse (WSYR-TV) – Syracuse University back-up quarterback Terrel Hunt was arrested after police say he stole an item from a Hollister location at Carousel Center Tuesday evening.
Police stay Hunt stole a $44 bottle of “Breakline Fragrance” from the store, concealing it in a Hollister shopping bag before exiting the store.
He was confronted outside the store and escorted to the security office by Hollister’s loss prevention officer.
Police say he was cooperative and apologetic.
He was released on an appearance ticket to appear in Syracuse City Court for the charge of petit larceny.
Police stressed that Hunt is the only person charged in the incident.
