SU defeats Bloomsburg in men's basketball exhibition game

SYRACUSE, NY (WSYR-TV) - The Syracuse University men's basketball team defeated the Bloomsburg Huskies 103-60 on Saturday in the Orange's final exhibition game before the regular season starts.

Nine different players scored for the Orange at the Carrier Dome.

The Orange closed the first half on a 16-0 run, their longest of the game, to lead the Huskies 60-24 heading into the locker room.

SU held Bloomsburg to 41 percent field goal shooting.

Senior guard Brandon Triche led the Orange with 23 points, while senior James Southerland and sophomore Michael Carter-Williams added 17 and 15 points, respectively.

Junior C.J. Fair scored 12 points and freshman Jerami Grant added 11 points.

SU starts the regular season on Friday, November 9 at 8 p.m., taking on San Diego State in the Battle on the Midway.
