SU falls to No. 9 in both major polls

Syracuse (WSYR-TV) – The Syracuse University men’s basketball team has tumbled to No. 9 in both major polls after losing two games straight.

The Orange lost to Pittsburgh 65-55 at the Peterson Events Center and to Villanova 75-71 in Philadelphia.

Indiana returned to the top of both the Associated Press Poll and the USA Today/ESPN Coaches poll. Rounding out the top five in both polls were Florida, Michigan, Duke, and Kansas in order.

In the Associated Press poll, Gonzaga, Arizona, Miami, Syracuse, and Ohio State completed the top 10.
