SU plummets to No. 17 in AP poll, No. 16 in coaches poll

Syracuse (WSYR-TV) – The Syracuse University men’s basketball team fell to No. 17 in the latest Associated Press poll and No. 16 in the coaches poll.

The Orange lost its third straight game on Saturday, falling to Louisville 58-53.

Meanwhile, Gonzaga moved up to No. 1 in both major polls for the first time in program history.

Indiana fell to No. 2 in the AP poll, followed by Duke at No. 3.

Kansas and Georgetown were ranked No. 4 and No. 5 respectively, in the AP poll.

In the ESPN/USA Today Coaches poll, Kansas and Duke were ranked No. 3 and No. 4, followed by the Hoyas.
