Boston, MA (Sports Network) - The Boston Celtics signed forward Jarvis Varnado on Monday.
Varnado averaged 14.0 points, 10.0 rebounds and an NBADL-high 3.9 blocks in 10 games for the Sioux Falls SkyForce of the NBA Development League this season.
The Mississippi State product was originally drafted by the Miami Heat with the 41st pick in the second round of the 2010 NBA Draft.
