Brooklyn, NY (Sports Network) - Brooklyn Nets forward Gerald Wallace will miss Tuesday's game against the Toronto Raptors because of bruised ribs, the team announced.

Wallace was injured in the first quarter of Friday's win over the Phoenix Suns. He was on the receiving end of a hard foul while attempting to finish a fastbreak dunk and fell hard to the floor. The injury kept Wallace from playing in Brooklyn's win over Indiana on Sunday.

Over 28 games this season, Wallace is averaging 9.8 points, 5.5 rebounds and 3.0 assists per contest.
