Cincinnati, OH (Sports Network) - The Cincinnati Bengals placed kicker Mike Nugent on injured reserve Friday.

Nugent suffered a right calf strain during practice on Dec. 5 and has been out of action ever since. Over 12 games this season, Nugent has connected on 19- of-23 field goal attempts and went a perfect 35-for-35 on extra points.

Josh Brown will handle the kicking duties for the Bengals' season finale against the Baltimore Ravens.

To fill the roster spot, the Bengals signed cornerback Chris Lewis-Harris from the practice squad.
