Syracuse (WSYR-TV) – Cicero-North Syracuse High School basketball star Breanna Stewart has added yet another accolade to a long and growing list.
On Friday,
Parade Magazine named Stewart its National Player of the Year.
The
UConn-bound player has already been named the
Gatorade Player of the Year, along with the
Naismith Girls Basketball Player of the Year. In addition, she was selected to the McDonald’s All-American team.
Stewart guided the Northstars to their second consecutive New York State Championship this past season and also became the state’s all-time leading scorer in girls basketball.
