Crunch reveals the ‘Crunchman’ as their new logo

Syracuse (WSYR-TV) – The Syracuse Crunch is going to back to the future with their new logo.

On Monday, the Syracuse AHL affiliate unveiled “Crunchman” as the new logo.

The Crunchman was the team’s logo in 1994 when the team was affiliated with the Vancouver Canucks until it was replaced with the ice gorilla Al when they partnered with the Columbus Bluejackets. The gorilla’s colors changed when the team joined the Anaheim Ducks organization.

The Crunch organization said it switched back to the Crunchman in conjunction with its new relationship with the Tampa Bay Lightning.
