NY Jets to begin training camp at SUNY Cortland in July

Cortland (WSYR-TV) -- The New York Jets will report to SUNY Cortland for the official start of 2012 training camp on July 26.

Tens of thousands of fans are expected to attend the team’s first practice, scheduled for Saturday, July 28.

Fans will also be able to enjoy Jets Fest – a football theme park with skill challenges and inflatable rides.

The team’s first practice is free and open to the public.

The Jets have practiced at SUNY Cortland since 2009. More than 41,000 people visited the campus for training camp in 2010.

The camp was not held in Cortland last year because of the NFL's labor dispute.
