Syracuse (WSYR-TV) – The Oswego State men’s ice hockey team is on the cusp of playing in its fourth consecutive NCAA Division III Frozen Four.

The Lakers, ranked No. 3 in the nation by uscho.com, will face No. 2 Norwich on Friday at 4 p.m. at Herb Brooks Arena in Lake Placid.

Oswego State enters the game at 24-4-0 following a 3-2 overtime win over Adrian. Senior forward Paul Rodrigues scored the game-winning goal, taking advantage of a pass from Luke Moodie.

UW-Eau Claire and Utica College are meeting in the other half of the bracket. The winners of the two games will met in the national championship tilt on Saturday at 7 p.m.
