Syracuse (WSYR-TV) – The Valley Stallions’ dream season came to an end on Tuesday when they lost to the Palmetto Bay Broncos in Florida.

The team of 10, 11, and 12-year-olds advanced to the game in Florida and the Central New Community rallied around it, raising tens of thousands of dollars to help them make the trip.

The team lost 21-0, wrapping up the season ranked No. 3 nationally at 13-2.

The team won its first game in Florida on Saturday, beating the West Haven Seahawks of Connecticut 26-20.

The coaching staff said the players were disappointed but added that when they have a chance in a few days or a couple of weeks to look back on what they’ve accomplished, they will realize they have a lot to be proud of.

The kids are scheduled to remain in Florida through the end of the week. They will hold a celebration there on Friday.
