So, this isn't a shot of central New York, but it is the first glimpse of the sunrise for the entirety of North America. This was taken from the summit of Cadillac Mountain in Acadia National Park. My husband and I went there this past weekend for our 12th wedding anniversary and were in awe of this beautiful sight.
