Although the size of the northern parades may be small, the heart of those in those parades honoring our fallen heroes, is not. There were memorials to honor those who died in the service of our country today, in Altmar, Parish, and Williamstown. The turnout was small, but filled with pride. It was a time to remember that the cost of losing just one member of these small towns, touches everyone in the community. We are all grateful for the sacrifices they have made, and honor them today.
