Come back to the 1950’s at Rydell High School as the Morrisville State College Theatre Department and SGO present Jim Jacobs and Warren Casey’s Grease at the Student Activities Building in the Little Theatre March 15-16, 21-23 at 8 pm. On March 17, the curtains go up at 2 pm for the matinee performance. Grease is being produced in cooperation with Samuel French Inc., 45 West 25th Street, New York, NY 10010-2751.
Some of the songs you may know from the 1973 musical are Summer Nights, Born to Hand Jive, Greased Lightnin’, Beauty School Dropout, and There Are Worse Things I Could Do. You’re the One That I Want, and Hopelessly Devoted To You composed by John Farrar, and Sandy written by Louis St. Louis and Scott Simon, from the 1978 movie starring John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John have been included in the production.
