Starting last night at sunset, HUGs From Cara, a non-profit that helps families families in the Auburn and surrounding areas understand and grieve in a safe, understanding environment, held an event at Hoopes Park, in Auburn. This event is called A Light To Remember.  Luminaries with an ornament dedicated to a loved one lined the walking path around the whole pond.  It was absolutely beautiful.  Here is a picture of a luminary dedicated to all those at Sandy Hook Elementary in Connecticut. The lights will remain lit until Sunday morning.
