The Chittenango Bears Pee Wee team this year is comprised of players from both the Chittenango and Canastota.  Canastota usually has a team themselves but this year they were not able to get the necessary 16 players so they joined our Chittenango team, which also was lacking the necessary 16 players.  We started in August with not enough players and thinking that we were going to give the kids and their parents the opportunity to join another organization, then players from Canastota joined as well as others in the Chittenango area and then a Pee Wee team was born with a total of 24 players making the mandated weigh-in.  This year we have come so far -- from initially thinking that there was a possibility that we would not have a Pee Wee team to making the Eastern Division Playoffs!  It has been since 1992 that a Chittenango team has made the playoffs and 4 years since a Chittenango Pee Wee team has won any games.  

We have come quite a ways this year.  We will be playing against the Baldwinsville Bees Pee Wee team for the Eastern Division Playoffs for CNY Pop Warner on Saturday, October 31st at 3pm at Henninger High School.  Hope to see you there!
