The Geddes Junior League Softball All Stars won the NY District 8 Junior League All Star Championship at Mattydale's Burnham Park on July 18th.  They will be going to the New York State Junior League Softball Championship Tournament this weekend in Chatham, NY; and for the second year in a row.  This is the 3rd year in a row that Geddes Little League Softball has sent one of their teams to a New York State Little League Championship Tournament; the Geddes 9/10 Softball All Stars went in 2010.  Back row (left to right): Claire Hewitt, Alli Nave, Jordan Tucker, Lexy White, Laura Finn, Claire Diefendorf, Rylie Spicer, Dom Weeks, Jenna Amidon, Marisa Joyce, Delaney Culligan.  Front row (left to right): Amanda Prell, Sara Hayes.  The team is coached by Mike Spicer, Dave Diefendorf, and Dan Prell.
