Clouds, associated with a warm front, will move east through central New York early this Saturday. Those clouds will move off to the east of our area this afternoon, leading to a good deal of sun. Southwest winds will increase through the day, helping to push temperatures into the mid and upper 50s.
A cold front, really a poor excuse for a cold front, is forecast to come through our area Saturday night. This front doesn’t have a lot of moisture with it, and all the good rain-making ingredients will slide by to our north. Nonetheless, we do have a shower or sprinkle in the forecast for tonight. With clouds and a bit of a wind, we won’t be anywhere near as cold as last night, with most areas stopping somewhere in the low to mid 40s.
We’ve taken the raindrop out for Sunday. A bubble of fair weather high pressure will set up right over us Sunday, giving us lighter winds, sunshine, and afternoon highs around 60. Even warmer weather is forecast Monday, as temperatures are forecast to rise into the mid 60s!
